You want a real hip hop album? This is an album that is truly emotional, eye opening, awe inspiring and hypnotic that will simply blow your mind. Theory Hazit not only is one of the cleverest names in the biz, he’s an emcee that is a workhorse yet knows family comes first. He opens this album in extraordinary fashion preaching to us over top of a scorching beat on “Lesson In Power”. He talks about anything from family to religion to where he’s from putting it all out there for your ears to soak in and your heart realize only you have the power to make certain choices. I’m not one of the most overly religious people, but this song truly moved me. Getting wild with a crazy a** beat he drops “Emit Gninrut (Time Turning)” slinging raw rhymes. The slow moving beat, echoing female hook, family oriented, emotion filled “Hello Kiddeez” will really move you. It’ll move you even more if you have kids. Its not to often you see the owner of your record label spitting some rhymes, but it just so happens to be the case when Braille lends his verbal assault on the bass heavy “I.O.U.”. Hands down this cat has skills. If you had the option to pick up the new Jay-z album or this one… make the right choice by picking up this album, you won’t regret it.
